Introducing Two Seasonal Smoothies That'll Make Your Holidays

seasonal holiday vegan smoothies JUS by julie

THE HOLIDAY SEASON is finally here, and we're ready to embrace everything it has to offer, including all of the tasty seasonal foods. Everyone at the JUS by Julie HQ has been currently dying over our two new holiday drinks--Squashkin Spice & Cran-Orange Crush--since Julie herself blended them up a few weeks ago, and now we're excited to share them with you!!

Both packed with antioxidants to get you through the winter months, these smoothies taste just like being home for the holidays--and they'll pamper your body the same way, too!

Check out the lowdown on these two flavors that'll only be around for a limited time!

FLAVOR PROFILE: Just like a slice of pumpkin pie

SUPERCHARGED INGREDIENTS:

Squash

Often passed by at the grocery store because of it's hard-to-cut-through peel, but not anymore! We've done the work for you so all you need to do is enjoy. Squash is a major source of nutrients, Vitamin C and antioxidants.

Apple

Apples are the Coco Chanel of fruit--they've been around forever, but they're just as good today. That phrase about eating an apple a day is for good reason.

Banana

Another classic that's underestimated! Aside from being the most commonly eaten fruit, bananas are rich in potassium. They're also high in tryptophan, which has been known to boost your mood and improve your memory.

FLAVOR PROFILE:  A little tart, a little sweet, and very creamy. Swap those Starbucks Cranberry Bliss bars for one of these!

SUPERCHARGED INGREDIENTS:

Cranberry

The antioxidant-rich cranberries at the base of this smoothie are loaded with fiber, Vitamin C & Vitamin E.

Orange

We all need a healthy dose of Vitamin C come cold season. On top of that, oranges have lots of fiber and alkaline minerals, which will balance out your body.

Avocado

People who eat avocados regularly are known to live longer. Not only do they add a creamy texture to dishes and juices, they also provide long lasting energy. Talk about a winner!
