It's official. Banana milk coffee is the hottest thing to hit the java market since the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Everyone from Eater to Refinery 29 are hailing the newfangled coffee as Fall's new 'it' drink.
It's kind of like a flavored latte or frappuccino, without all of the added sugar. In fact, the drink is good for you. It's loaded with potassium, which can help lower the risk of heart disease as well as maintain kidney health.
How do I make it?
Try our vegan recipe below or snag some banana milk on Amazon to mix with your morning cuppa. We love it with our Probiotic Cold Brew, which gives the added benefit supporting digestive health.
Banana Milk Coffee (V, GF)
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ cup water or almond milk
- ¼ teaspoon honey or agave syrup
- 8 ounces of JÙS by Julie Probiotic Cold Brew (or other cold brew/iced coffee)
In a blender or food processor, combine banana, water/almond milk and honey/agave syrup until smooth. Pour Probiotic Cold Brew into a glass filled with ice and top with banana milk mixture. Add a straw and enjoy!
