Boss Breakfast: The Easiest Energy-Boosting Smoothie Bowl Recipe Ever

IT'S OFFICIAL--Smoothie bowls are here to stay as a breakfast and post-workout staple. They're a great way to get tons of antioxidants in the morning, but the only tricky part about it is that most people don't have the time in the morning to whip up a bowl at home. We've taken half the work out of it for you with our recipe that uses a bottle of our Berry Blend juice. You'll be finished making it in 5 minutes flat...and it'll be easy to eat it that fast, too! 

To get the right texture, we froze a bottle of our Berry Blend juice for a day and then put it in the fridge the night before we wanted our bowl. We topped our bowl with bananas, peanut butter, coconut chips, cacao nibs and granola, but feel free to substitute the toppings in this recipe with other healthy foods that you have at home.  

 

Easy Acai Berry Bowl 

Yield: serving 

Active Time: 5 minutes  

Ingredients: 

  • 1 bottle Berry Blend JUS 
  • 1 tablespoon natural granola
  •  1 tablespoon coconut flakes
  •  1 tablespoon cacao nibs
  •  1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana, sliced

    Instructions: 

    Freeze a bottle of JUS by Julie Acai Berry Juice. The night before you want to have the acai bowl, place the bottle in the fridge overnight.  

    In the morning, squeeze the partially frozen juice into a food processor and pulse until the consistency is slightly smooth.  

    Pour the acai blend into a bowl and top with granola, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, peanut butter and sliced banana.
